Project Manager

For seven years, I worked with a team of eight people to establish a public digital information repository for data and information related to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Formerly Used Defense Sites (FUDS). In this role, I was responsible for project planning, execution and oversight as well as quality control of final deliverables.

Congressional FUDS Tour

As part of a team, I helped create informational binders regarding FUD Sites for Congress members in California, Nevada and Utah. The binders included fact sheets, maps and other data visualizations for each FUD Site located in each congressional district within the USACE Sacramento District jurisdiction. In addition, I accompanied the program manager on visits to every congressional member to hand deliver the binders and discuss the importance of each of the projects and the necessity for congressional funding and support to expedite the environmental remediation of each site. In result, I received a congressional letter of recognition from Congresswoman Woolsey for her appreciation of these efforts.

For this FUD Site, I provided supplemental community relations support to the primary USACE contractor for this site by conducting a community survey and creating a fact sheet.
