These events do not have websites associated with them, so I have included brief descriptions.

Commonwealth Honors Program Convocation Ceremony

This annual event is held for students accepted into the Commonwealth Honors Program at Salem State University to celebrate and recognize student achievements. This event is held at the Hawthorne Hotel in Salem at the end of the academic year.

Event planning included: Reserving location; catering; working with external vendors; selecting key note speaker, performances, and photographer; and purchasing award medals and stoles.

Media and Communication Department Awards and Induction Ceremony

This annual event serves as the Lambda Pi Eta honors society induction ceremony as well as an awards ceremony for Media and Communication students who have excelled in various areas. Our most successful version of this event occurred in 2018 as a black tie gala fundraiser that served to raise money for the honors society to support their academic and professional endeavors.

Event planning included: Reserving location, catering, working with external vendors, selecting key note speaker and faculty speaker, and selecting and purchasing awards and honors stoles and pins.
